Lok Sabha Polls 2019:
-Times Now VMR survey| NDA to win a majority with 283 seats.
It clearly shows in Lok Sabha Polls 2019 the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to come to power with a majority on its own, an opinion poll by Times Now-VMR completed after the Balakot air strikes have predicted.
The survey predicted the NDA to get as much as 282 seats – 10 over the halfway mark – leaving the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance ( UPA) way behind with 136 seats.
Other parties which include the SP-BSP-RLD and non-aligned parties like the BJD, Telangana Rashtriya party and YSR Congress could end up with 136.
The predicted tally for the NDA is 54 seats less than what it got in 2014.

Just a day before the polls dates was announced, Modi held rallies in Uttar Pradesh, including in his own parliamentary constituency of Varanasi. The PM is set to formally hit the campaign trail just three days before the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ event in which he will interact with people through a video bridge.
