The alliance between the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party, before Lok Sabha elections, has come to an end. Although no formal announcement has been made yet, Mayawati has declared the situation of the coalition by announcing that she will contest the 11 assembly seats in the by-elections alone.
There is no statement from the SP on this issue yet. Earlier, the SP-BSP combine had been saying that the political analyst was coming out of a mismatch. During this, Mayawati’s revelation also came about how she gave Akhilesh Yadav’s seats to those seats which no one could gain from her victory.
Examples are Lok Sabha seats such as Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Banaras, Ghaziabad. About the alliance, SP’s founder and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav were not happy. He expressed his displeasure clearly. Separating from SP, Shivpal Singh Yadav formed his party and brought his candidate to all the seats.
Shivpal Yadav also ridiculed this alliance. The guest house case was also mentioned, but it was said that the two parties have now recovered from this accident. Several photographs of Mulayam and Akhilesh came together with Mayawati on the stage. However, in an election speech, Mayawati did not say that the SP workers need to learn a lot from the BSP people.
The reasons for the breakdown-
During the coalition, it was said that SP would support the Lok Sabha elections and BSP would help in the Assembly elections so that Akhilesh Yadav could become the chief minister. But in the Lok Sabha elections, votes did not get as expected, due to which this alliance has no meaning.
Mayawati would be thinking that if our MPs have reached the Lok Sabha and some strength has been strengthened in the area, then why should the claim of assembly be dropped? The coalition was done with the hope that SP will support Mayawati’s candidature for the prime minister’s post. But all of them collapsed in front of the huge majority of BJP.
Mayawati alleges that the Mulayam Singh family only suffered loss in Lok Sabha elections. Their vote could not be transferred. Shivpal Singh Yadav, standing his Candidate, cut a lot of votes and damaged it, so now there is no point in fighting with the election. Mayawati says that Yadav’s family did not get the votes of Yadavs due to her family.
Mayawati says that Ajit Singh Jat failed to transfer the vote, so there is no point in walking with this. In the Lok Sabha elections, none of the RLD candidates could win. It has no benefit in western Uttar Pradesh.
Mayawati told legislators, MPs and coordinators in the review meeting held at her residence that they will fight the alliance alone and not with the coalition. He said that the main reason for not achieving success in the Lok Sabha is not the transfer of Yadav and Jat votes.
